Chocolate Pumpkin Cookies

Chocolate Pumpkin Cookies

Hi Ya Friends!

Today we are pretty much having a wet rainy day today! So today I wanted to bake some cookies.  I had bought this Cookies Press by Pampered Chef.  I got it from Ebay at a really good price. It was brand new, I think I payed about $15.00 bucks for it! So I had to buy! I really like it because it’s so easy to use and it comes with all 16 cookie press. You can check out Papered Chef Cookie Press over {here} to get more info.

So I used Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix and used my pumpkin shaped cookie press and placed them on a non-stick cookie sheet.

Here are my cookies all baked! Don’t they look yummy to eat already!!!  No-no-no, not yet done! :)

To melt the chocolate, I bought this Wilton Melting Pot over at Joann’s. I have to say that this melting pot is awesome! I love it!! I go to Calico Bakery in Orange County to buy my chocolate….they have everything when it comes to baking!

Once my chocolate is melted, it’s time to dip them in!  Once each cookie is half covered with chocolate, I covered them with orange and purple sprinkles.

I hope this yummylicious cookies have inspired you!

Brownies…ohhh-la-la!

Brownies…ohhh-la-la!

Hey Stamper Friends,

Well, for some reason my craftiness has been on vacation. Ever since I was planning my sister in law’s baby shower, my mojo of being creative was placed on hold.  This time I got into baking.  There is this cake store that my mother in law introduced me and I was like a kid in a candy store.  It was like the doors of heaven opened! Yes seriously!  This cake supply store is called Calico Cake Shop and they have so much stuff for your baking needs!

So I have a lot of projects coming up for this Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas. So to get started, I wanted to use my new Brownie Bake Pan.

I simply {heart} this pan so much! It does everything for you! All my brownies pieces are even!

Don’t ya just like how they came out? Took only half hour to bake. I used Betty Crocker Brownie Mix to make my batch.  Now they’re ready to be decorated. I had some left over White Chocolate that I had used for making some Baby Chocolate Baby Lollipops.

While boiling some water in a metallic bowl, I added my white chocolate until they are melted.

Used a thin tip to make my drizzle of white chocolate but then made a note to myself….never use a thin tip when using chocolate….lol! My silver tip got clogged so I had to use a thicker tip.  Added some bits of pecans.

So I called my brownies {White Chocolate Pecan Brownies} :)  I’ll be serving these to my nurses on my unit as a little treat.  Hope they like them!

As you can see the last 3 on the left, that’s where I used my thicker tip……trial and error! That’s how you learn I guess! :)

Have a good one!

Baby Teddy Bear Cake & Cupcakes

Baby Teddy Bear Cake & Cupcakes

After days and weeks of preparation, the day has finally come! Yesterday, we celebrated soon to come baby Jacob and showered my sister in law with a baby shower.  Everyone had a wonderful time. The day and evening was full of family and friends, food, drinks and of course lots of sweets!

I made a very special baby teddy bear for her. My mother in law does cakes and she showed me how to decorate and make all the fun little flower shapes and color my bear. The cupcakes were a big hit! Everyone loved how they turned out and was told how yummmmy and delicious they were.

So here are some pics of how they were displayed.  If you are interested in these cupcake toppers, I do special orders.  Just go to my “about me page” and you will find my contact information, and we can chat about the details.

Have a sweet day!

Baby Cupcake Toppers

Hi-ya Stampers!

Well guess what I’m up to this time? Have another fun cute project to share with you! I thought I was done making cute baby things, but then I had this crazy idea about making cupcakes for my sister in law.  So after you see these cupcakes, I had to decorate them even more! I made48 cupcakes and 48 cupcake toppers!……..Yeah, you can call me crafty crazy but I enjoyed making these so much!  So relax and sit back and enjoy the pictures!

If you have any questions, feel free to post me a comment!

Cupcake tins filled with batter and ready to bake.

Umm, Yummy! Smell of fresh cupcakes rising up!

Some of the cupcakes that are done. Now to frost them up and sprinkle them.

Make a Coconut Cream Frosting. Added a little bit of light blue food coloring and some crystal sprinkles.

These are the cupcake toppers I made. Used my Fiskars scallop puncher and circle cutter to make these. Baby images were printed out. I added some dotted stickles on each scallop. Baby blue satin ribbon and some baby pacifiers.

If you think I was done…ummmm, actually I’m not.  I bought a 3D Stand Up Teddy Bear Mold and going to decorate him into a baby teddy bear. So, stay tuned for that.  I’ll be posting pictures soon of all the fun decorations at the baby shower.

Baby Diaper Cake

Baby Diaper Cake

So I’ve been really, really busy in my craft room creating lots of fun stuff for my sister in law’s baby shower. I’m so super excited, I can’t wait for this Saturday, September 4, 2010 .  With the baby shower invites and baby shoe party favors, I decided to make another creation.  This time this one is really big!

I made a Baby Diaper Cake! I always wanted to make something like this. After seeing different YouTube tutorials, I decided to go for it.  If you want to learn how to make one, I recommend seeing this tutorial over here. For the baby blue block banner, teddy bear and Sweet Baby lettering I used my Quikutz Silhoutte Library and cut it with my KNK Groov-e machine.  Added some white satin ribbon and bows.  I wanted to give the teddy bear a blanket, similar to my Baby Shower Invites I made.

Thanks for stopping by! If you have any questions please leave me a comment. I love to hear from ya!

Baby Shower Party Favors

Baby Shower Party Favors

Hey Stampers!

Hope your having a nice cool day! It’s been pretty darn hot here in California! But I’m sure it’s a lot hotter in the other states.  The hottest it’s been here is 101 degrees!

So I’ve been working up a storm in my craft room creating some baby shower party favors. Now tell me, aren’t these the cutest little things? Oh my gosh I love them so much! Took me weeks to create but they’re finally done!  For the paper I used DCWV – Nana’s Nursery Baby Boy 12×12 paper I used my QK Silhouette Library and downloaded Baby Shoe. Instead of using my Silhouette I used my KNK Groove.  I love, love, love this machine!! It’s so powerful and fast!

For the goodies inside, I bought Wilton’s Baby Pacifier Candies. Wrapped them inside some white tulle and tied them with a special order of ribbon.  Added some mini baby blue pacifiers.

For my next project I’m working on is a baby diaper cake that I’m working on.  So stay tuned for that!  For now here are some pics of the baby shower party favors I made.  If you have any questions, just comment on my blog!

Have a cool one!!
