Baby Boy Baptism Invites….{Sneak Peek}

Baby Boy Baptism Invites….{Sneak Peek}

So I’m proud and honor to say that I’m going to be Madrina / Nina {God Mother} to my wonderful and sweet Nephew Jacob!

Here’s a picture of this little dude that makes my heart pitter patter and gets overfilled with joy when I’m with him! Isn’t he that cutest little guy ever! And yes, this little dude is only 4 months old!!

I’m so happy! Not only am I his Auntie but I’ll be his God Mother too! What a precious gift that is from God! :) So I’ll be making the baptism invites. I saw online and they are so expensive.  So I said to myself, I got the materials I can make them myself…..why not! So here are some sneak peaks what I’ve been doing in my craft room so far!

Isn’t this the cutest stamp? I bought this from Joann’s store. It’s from Inkadinado called Sunday School Inchie. I stamped all of the envelopes in the front.

Love my Martha Stewart Lace Punch!

Stamped a little toked of love on each of the cards :)

Have a happy scrappy day!

Well hello there crafty friends!

Yeah, it’s been a looooong time since I posted anything! But it’s been super busy and hectic here at The Rodriguez house….lol! :)

We’ve been remodeling our house and that means my craft room hasn’t been very easy to get in to! We’ve been moving things here and there and pretty much it has taken over my craft room.  But I do have to say we are almost done!  We got one of our bathrooms done and now we are working on our Master Bathroom. So little by little we are accomplishing a lot!

2ndly, I’ve been spending a lot of time with my baby nephew Jacob! If you can see from the previous postings and scrapbooking he was just  teeny weeny baby! Well, now he’s 4 months old and he’s getting big!  I be posting some new scrapbook pages I did for our Christmas gathering.  Lots of pics to scrapbook but so little time! :(

So, for you who leave here in California or nearby Los Angeles, isn’t it a bummer that this year CHA in Los Angeles isn’t open to the public!!! I’m so sad!!! I had lots of fun last year! I got to meet MyPinkStamper – Robyn and her bff Kaylee! So it kinda sucks that this year it’s not going to happen! Oh well, maybe hopefully next year!!

Well have a good one!!!

Happy Thursday everyone! Hope your having a good Thursday!

Today I have another fun digital scrapbook page I want to share with you that I have made. This one is my favorite one because I’m so blessed to be a Auntie for the very 1st time.  We welcomed our very 1st nephew into the family.  I can’t stop bragging about him! He sure is the attention of the family!

Here I’am holding him for the very 1st time! Such a tiny little one. He only weighed in at 5lbs & 9.5oz!

Baby Of Mine

Baby Of Mine

Happy Wednesday to ya!

Today I want to share a Digital Scrapbook Page Layout I created today. Loving the fact that I’m getting use to using Photoshop Elements. At first it was a little intimidating how to use the program. But after doing a little research and watching some fun tutorials I’m getting use to do it and liking it more! :)

So this one is called Baby Of Mine.  This photo was taken when my nephew Jacob was born and captured the moment of mommy (sister in law – Vienna) and her baby. He was only a couple hours old when this shot was taken! Isn’t it precious?

Boo-licious Rice Krispies Treats!

Boo-licious Rice Krispies Treats!

Hi-ya Friends!

Today I want to share with you some treats I made for my nursing co-workers.  I love Rice Krispies Treats the old fashion way. But wanted to add more to it and make it a little bit ghoulish….lol!  So I decided to add some Oreo Cookies and some melted chocolate on top.

It’s a fun and super easy recipe! So, I will share along the way! :)

Ingredients:
4 Tablespoons Butter
4 Cups mini marshmallows
8 Cups rice krispies cereal
8 oz bag mini Oreo cookies, slightly crushed

Directions:
Melt butter first. Once butter is melted add marshmallows over medium heat and stir slowly. In a separate container add rice krispies and oreos, mix well. Once everything is mixed well. Using wax paper press firmly into a greased 9×13 pan. Drizzle melted chocolate over top and decorate.

Once the treats are in the pan, it’s time to melt the chocolate! I used my favorite Wilton Chocolate Melting Pot.  I got this from Joann’s, very easy to melt the chocolate.  I melted regular chocolate and purple chocolate….yes, purple.  Has a taste of white chocolate! Yummy! :)

Once both of the colored chocolates were melted, it’s time to drizzle on the treats.

Here’s a close up view.  I added some orange and purple sprinkles too and extra crushed Oreo’s on top.

I let the chocolate cool of and dry for about 20 minutes and cut them in square shapes to make 24 pieces.

To decorate, I had bought some small clear bags from a bake shop called Calico Cakes that I go often to buy my baking stuff. Added some Halloween color ribbon and were ready to give away!

Hope this inspired you make some! All my nurses really loved them! :)

Hey friends!

Hope your all having a fabulous Sunday. The weather has been a little chilly lately, which means Winter is close to coming in.  Today was I call a lazy Sunday today.  My hubby and I stayed home and just relax.

Today I want to share with you a digital scrapbook page I created using Basic Grey Tutorial with Photoshop. Kristina Werner is the one who does these tutorials, and I have to say I have learned so much from this chic! She makes each tutorial fun and easy!

In this digital scrapbook layout, I got to learn how to make a template. Took a while to learn going back and forth stopping and playing the tutorial. But I’m so happy I was able to accomplish this.  This layout is all about my one and only nephew Jacob.  He turned 1 month old on October 13, 2010.  He’ such a precious baby!

To learn how to make this template, visit Basic Grey YouTube Channel. This tutorial comes in 2 parts. Click here to view Part 1 and Part 2. The digital kit that I used was from Cute Creation Designs in Baby Moon.
