Baby Talk & Planning!

Hi-ya Crafters!

Today’s topic is a little off today! No cardmaking or scrapbooking here today…..yeah, I know! Have to share with ya today some findings I found at Joann’s today and share with ya my excitement!….lol! :)

Well if you don’t know, my brother and sister in law are expecting they’re first baby!

I’m so super excited because that little baby will be my very 1st niece or nephew.  So, Vienna is 6 months pregnant and we still don’t know what she is having.  Last month her doctor told her it’s a girl! So we started talking baby girl talk and looking at girlie stuff.  Then this month it showed up it’s a boy……uh-oh? What?  Now my poor sister in law is all confused! She was so looking forward in getting the baby room decorated and start shopping!

Me, in the other hand, I’m stuck too! I’m doing the baby shower invites and baby favors for the shower.  But, we will find out soon on July 11th, 2010.  Were all getting together as one big happy family, her side and my side and will go take her for a 4D Ultrasound! And this time will be accurate of what is in the oven…..lol! :)

So, I went to Joann’s and wanted to get started on buying some things for the baby shower invites.  But once I know what she will be having, I can always return what I didn’t use.  But here are some sneak peaks of what I got for the baby shower invites!

Aren’t these so cute! They’re so soft and cuddly!  I’ll take more pics and give sneak peaks of what I’ll be creating for the baby shower and keep ya posted!

Have a good one!

Tea Time With You!

Happy late Thursday Stampers or should I say Happy Friday now!  So sorry that I’ve been MIA, but life has been so busy here! Working full time as an RN on a very busy Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit doing 12 hrs shift 4 days a week plus taking online classes and then being a wife…….well just by saying that, you can tell I have a busy schedule.  So, sometimes I don’t have much time during my days off to be as creative has I want to.  But I can say that I’am finally…….yes, finally off for 3 days!  Were off to taking as I call it a mini vacation! Just relax and kick-back and enjoy our weekend!

Our plans for this Friday is go over to Camarillo, Ca and have a nice brunch with family who live out there and then head out to the Camarillo Premium Outlet Stores. And then on Saturday will go to San Gabriel Mission and take a tour and take photos.  And then for Sunday, will play it by ear…… But I’m just excited to be off and just relax with my hubby! :)

So it’s Treehouse Thursday over at The Treehouse Blog! I totally loved this Color Challenge that Gloria Morizen picked out for this week!  Today’s challenge is to create with the colors Pink, Mellow Moss and White, plus 1 color of your choice.  So, for this week’s challenge I used the new Tea Stamp Digital Set called Tea Time.

Wanted to create a vintage card using lace and distress inks.  Hope you like my card for this challenge.

Love how the lace and satin look together. I used Prima Flowers and a Hero Arts Gemstone.

Printed out my cup of tea and sentiment on some cream cardstock. Used my scalloped nesties and Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut Stain. Added some Hero Arts pearls to the tea cup.

Join me and the rest of the creative design team at The Treehouse Blog and submit your card. We love to see what you come up with using these fun colors!

Have  a good one!
