Happy Tuesday Bloggers!
Well this morning I had to wake up early and made a list and I checked it twice……lol! Actually a to do list. You know those last minute things you need to get before Christmas Eve.
So I headed to the stores and bought gift bags, Christmas paper, tissue paper……you know all those things to wrap. Yeah, I’m like the last minute shopper here. Once I bought this and that, I head home and of course I had to do the wrapping. Since I’m working Tuesday and of course I’ll be working Christmas. Yes! Friends I got to work. But it’s ok, I’m looking forward to working on Christmas Day at the hospital. My friend Ashley from Ashley’s Creative Corner gave this small little idea. Thanks to you Ashley I decided to take up your cute idea. What’s the idea???
Well I made some cute little cards for my patients at work. Since I get 5 patients at work, I said to myself? Should I make 5? hmmm? Naaa! I made a couple of them and will give them out. It is kinda sad in a way that my patients do have to stay at the hospital for illness reasons. But I’m hoping some will be discharged. Which means possiblities of getting admits. But that’s ok, as long as they go home and spend time with their families is important to me. Thanxs! Ashley for the cute smart idea!
Well here are some pictures of some cards I made during the holidays.
I won’t be blogging the next 2 days because, like you guys know I will be working for the holidays. But that’s ok, I will be off…………drum roll please………………I’ll will be off for 8 DAYS!! Yes! My friends……off for 8 days….woo-hoo! Yeah! It’s been a chaiotic last year with me going thru nurisng school I didn’t spend much quality time with friends and family due to me studying for finals and doing projects for school and plus working full time. So this Christmas it is all DEDICATED to them only.
Well enjoy the pictures and a little note for the day:
Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself…

1. This first card I did was with my Swirls Cuttlebug. I went to Walmart the other day and just saw these darling little snowman stickers. So decided to made a card with them. A little stamping with my Hero Arts set. Added a little bling and ribbon and wa-la!
2a. This 2nd card I did, I thought it came out Cho-Cho cutesie!! LOL! I folded my card stock in 3 and used some christmas pattern paper from Making Memories paper. Used some of those stickers I mentioned about that I bought from Wal-mart. Used my sewing machine to do the stitching. Oh? by the way did I tell you that my fave thing about making cards is stitiching them……LOVE IT! My hubby bought me last year for Christmas a Husqvarna Sewing machine. Never used it but now…..OMG! I love my sewing machine!!
2b. When you open the card, I added this tag inside. That’s not yet……when you open it again you get to the next part.
2c. And Wa-La! You get the message! Again, I did some stitiching aroud the cards stock and used my Xyron 900 Creative Station to glue to the cardstock. La-la LOVE my Xyron 900!! It’s the best!
3. And last for sure, I thought this one is my favorite when I finished it. I bought this BIG huge pack for paper from Joanns. Used my Spellbinders Rectangle……Oh? by the way, I don’t have the Spellbinders Machine. I used my Classic Red Sizzix Machine. The possibilities of my big little red machine. And once again I used those cutsie Snowman embellishements. Did a little sewing on the edges of the paper and also inside the card. All in a nutshell and there you go………A Handmade Christmas Card.
3a. Mr. Snoman is such a cutie!!! Oh! I added some little pom-poms on his little hood! Used my Hero Arts stamps and a little bling.
Thanks for checking my blog out. I will see you soon.
I’m wishing everyone around the world a Merry, Merry Christmas. Stay warm and stay cozy. Enjoy all life’s blessings that surround you!
Until then!
Smiles,
Yaneri
