Hey Stampers! Happy Saturday!
This posting is all about babies! I made 2 cards for 2 very special people. One is for my sister in law Vienna, who gave us the exciting news that she and my brother are expecting they’re 1st baby! Yeyyyyy! What’s more exciting is that I’m going to be a 1st time aunt! I can’t wait for the little bundle of joy to arrive. 9 months and the count down starts! Congratulations Aldo and Vienna, I’m so happy and thrilled!
So here is a card I made for her, using some Studio G stamps that I bought at Michaels a while back. This was the perfect stamp because I knew that one day I was going to use it. I thought this card came out soooo cute! I hope she loves it!
I used Kraft CS and Basic Grey design paper. For the polka dots I used Paper Trey Ink and stamped it with Versa Mark ink and Pink chalk ink. Both of the stamp images are from Studio G Collection. Used EK Success large scallop border bunch. Used my sewing machine and did a zig zag stitch together. Adhere everything on pop dots and attached it to my Kraft CS. Pink Satin Ribbon from Tall Mouse.
The next card is for my friend Mick and his wife Jenny. They had they’re 1st little baby last week. His name is Benjamin. So I wanted to make them a congratulations card.
I used Kraft Cardstock and used my dots PaperTrey Ink stamp and embossed it with Clear Versa Mark Ink. Used blue cardstock and punched the border with my Fiskars Scallop Punch. Design paper is from DCWV -Nursery pad and did a zig zag stitch on each side. For the sentiment stamp I used Cloud 9 Stamp set and ink it up with Chocolate Brown ink. Ribbon from American Crafts I had for a while.

Hey there all happy stampers!
Happy Monday to ya!! Â It’s been about a week since I haven’t blogged. Â Which means I haven’t made a card for a week! Â Don’t get me wrong, I have been reading and following my fave blogs but for some reason my spark crafty engine has been down on the low side lately. Â #1 because I’ve been sick with this miserable cold. Â I worked a long week at the hospital and being exposed to sick people of course I had to catch something alright! So I’ve been sick for 4 days feeling miserable and blahhh! Â
This whole week I spent it resting and relaxing. Â Knowing that I had to go to work today, I just didn’t feel WELL enough to take care of other people in the hospital. Â So I had to call in sick today. Â So after eating a good breakfast and loading up on AlkaSeltzer Cold Plus, Mucinex and Airbourne and drinking lots of H2o………….by golly I feel a lot better. Â (Sigh!) The power of medicine……lol!
I missed out on so many challenges that I decided to do a Challenge and this time for Mojo Monday. Â So here is the card I submitted! Pretty easy layout I would think. Â
The design paper I used was by Heidi Grace designs.
For the top layer of the card I did a little distressing with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
I had these small yellow buttons from Basic grey but I felt it needed for of a touch, so I added some gemstones from HeroArts to them. Â I did some sewing on the edge of the card. Â I LOVE using my sewing machine as much has I can. Â Added a little bow to the corner and my stamp image I printed out and wa’la! Â

Happy Friday!…………Yey!!! Â TGIF!!!
Seriously! This week has been so so B-U-S-Y! I’m not kidding! All the things I love to do have been on hold for these past few days! Â Work at the hospital has been really, really super busy! I kid you not!! Â But in one way it is good because with the news of how the economy is going it is extremely so sad to hear that a lot of business are closing and a lot of people with no jobs!
I thank GOD everyday that I wake up knowing that I have not been cancelled from my job. We’ve been so super busy lately at the hosptial where I work at. Â And I think I’ll be ok in keeping my job as an RN. Â When there are sick people there is only 1 option, either you go to the doctor or your doctor will admit you to the hospital and that’s where I come in and taking you in and admitting you. Â
I sincerely LOVE, LOVE what I do for a living! I love it with a passion just as much has I LOVE doing crafts! Â Seriously! I really do! Â
And talking about passion!…..lol! Â I’ve been away from blogging for a couple of days because I’ve been so busy with work that time for stamping and cardmaking really couldn’t fit in my everyday busy schedule. Â But guess what?? Â I’m off for 3 days which means………..STAMPING!!!
So this is the funny part! Â Even thou it’s Friday, I’m barely doing my
Mojo Monday card. Â Yeah! I know it’s Friday but I got till Sunday to submit this one. Â So I’m still in time! Â If I can just squeeze this one in, I’m a happy camper!!

TreeHouseStamps. Â She has the cutest stamps on the block here. This stamp is called Celebrating Mouse.
Here is a close up of this cutie little critter! I stamped this image twice and cut it out and mounted it on pop ups and layed it over to give it a dimensional look. Â
Here is a another close up view how it looks raised up. Â I added lots of Stickles to it. Looks like such a yummy cupcake!
Thanks for taking a peek at my blog and looking at my crafty creations. Â I’m off to make me a snack. Â For some reason I’m craving a PB&J sandwich with chocolate milk!………..lol!
