HB Cupcake!

Happy February 1st Crafters!

I do have to say that February is my faaaaavorite month, because it’s my month of my birthday and plus it’s the month of looooooove!

Tomorrow, February 2nd is Gloria’s birthday and she is the mom of my sister in law. So I wanted to make something sweet for her. And nothing says like to celebrate cupcake style! I love the Silhouette Blog site and was so inspired by this card over {here} that I wanted to try to make it! I simply love love this {banner}!

So I went to my QK Silhouette library and downloaded the banner, but instead of using the present, I made a cupcake!

I used my camera on my Android because my batteries on my Canon were out of juice….lol!

So Happy Birthday to Mrs. Gloria!

Treehouse Thursday Challenge #53 – Color Challenge

Happy Thursday to ya my friends! So sorry I haven’t posted in a long time, but it’s been real busy in my side of the world and haven’t had much time to do anything fun. After working Friday, Saturday & Sunday I only had 1 day off to rest and catch up on doing things around the house and doing errands. Then again had to work another 3 days at the hospital. So you can say that there are crickets in my craft room, because I haven’t even stepped one foot in there. That’s how lonely my room is……..lol!

But I was able to make some time during the night to create a little. Been so long, didn’t know where to begin. Have you crafter’s had any days like that? Just feeling uninspired and just don’t know where to start?

Well, off to better happy things……lol! It’s Thursday again….thank goodness because I’m off work for the next 3 days after today!!! YES!! Its’ Treehouse Thursday over at The Treehouse Blog! Today’s challenge is featuring Anne Harmon with her challenge creating a card with the colors Red, Black and White! So here my card for this week’s challenge.

For this week’s Treehouse Thursday Challenge, I’m using the new Digi-Stamp called Embrace Life. Used my Paper Trey Ink Polka Dot set and stamped my image sorta of giving it a distress faded look. So, come on over to The Treehouse! We love to see what you come up with!!

Hey Stampers! Happy Tuesday to ya! Hope you had a wonderful and delicious BBQ weekend! I had to work yesterday on Memorial Day, but that’s ok! It was an easy, relaxing, stress free day! Plus I get double pay! Woo-hoo!

I made this Birthday card ahead of time because I knew I wasn’t going to have time during this week. Tomorrow is my bossy’s Birthday. Hope she likes it! I also did this card for The Treehouse Blog Thursday Challenge. Today’s challenge is all about color.

I had bought some lace at Joann’s for my scrapbook page layouts. I wanted to create a vintage card using some distress inks. I think it didn’t turn out too bad. I simply like the lace so much. I used Treehouse Stamps digi image from Simply Organic
