Happy Mother’s Day!

Hello and Happy Happy Sunday, but above all Happy Mother’s Day to all my stamper friends who are mommies and mommies to be!

Wanted to share with ya some cute Circle Purse bags I made using my KNK Groove-e.  I got this idea from Angie – ChicNScratch from a YouTube Video that I saw. I thought these were so adorable, that I had to try to do some for myself.  I don’t have the Stampin-up supplies that Angie uses in her video.  So I basically used my KNK Groove-e software and did the 6′ circle and cut the oval shape inside the circle.

So to see Angie’s Circle Bag, here’s the clip on how you can make one too!

And this is what I came up with. I used heavy design paper from DCWV collection called The Luxury Stack.

{Circle Purse Bag} Supplies:

Design Paper from DCWV The Luxery Colleciton, Cuddle Bug Embossing Swirl Folder, Prima Flowers, Glimmer Mist in Viva Pink, Prima Pearls in White, Zig-zag stitching with sewing machine. Ribbon, Buttons, small white bags for the inside.

Celebrating our 7th Wedding Anniversary

Hi! Friends!

Yesterday, April 20th, 2010. We celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary. Jeff my hubby was so sweet and very romantic he planned out a wonderful dinner at The Melting Pot in Brea, California.  Both of us never been there before so it was an experience in itself.  A fondue meal to celebrate our special occasion.

So here are some pics of the special event!

The Melting Pot in Brea, California

My honey is so sweet! There were rose petals on the table, long stem rose, candles lit up.

We got this scroll with our Wedding date and events that happened on that day and year.

For starters we had the Cheese Fondue and Caesar Salad. We dipped our cubed bread, veggies and apples for dipping. The cheese fondue we had is Traditional Swiss Cheese Fondue. It had Gruyere & Emmenthaler Swiss Cheeses, white wine, garlic, nutmeg, lemon and Kirschwasser. It was sooooooo yummy!

After we were done with our Cheese Fondue and Salad, it was time for our main course. For our cooking style we picked Coq au Vin Fondue. Flavors of fresh herbs, mushrooms, garlic, spices and burgundy wine.

And here is our main course! We had the Pacific Island Big Nite out.

Jeff cooking the Large Kiwi Lime Shrimp…..ummm! so good!

After dinner was done…..time for dessert! The best part of the meal! Time for dipping!

And to pick my chocolate Fondue. The Cookies N Cream Marshmallow Dream……..with White Chocolate of course! And pieces of crunchy peanut butter and Oreo’s!

And some champagne and strawberries!……..Oh yeah!

Perfect dinner to celebrate a special occasion!! It was such a wonderful and special dinner. I’ll never forget this day! Thank you honey! I’m so blessed to have you in my life!
