Oh Christmas Tree…….

Hi there sweet crafters!

So I have my tree up and ready to put some Christmas presents under the tree! Can’t wait for the weekend to get here! I’m so happy because Christmas happens to fall on my weekend that I don’t have to work at all!! I can focus all my time with my family and friends!!

I want to share with you my fun experience putting up my Christmas tree. Boy! at first when I saw that this tree came in pieces, I said to myself “by the time I’m done putting this tree together, Christmas is over” hahaha!! Just look at this! So many pieces!!!

But after multiple times figuring it out! I finally was able to put my decorations on the tree!! Took me a while but it was so much fun listening to xmas music and singing along!

I really love how my tree glows and makes all my ornaments sparkle!! Don’t ya just love the festive holidays!!!

I love this ornament my friend gave me at work!! So special to me! I love angels, so this one has a special place in my heart!!

From the bottom of my heart I wish you and yours a very special Merry Christmas, but if you don’t celebrate Christmas, then I wish you blessings and joy through out season and New Year!! Remember, this holiday is not about the big expensive presents to buy or to receive. It’s about spending time with the family and sharing the love for one another and saying I Love You’s to each other! Gifts are just material things and if you don’t get what you buy, then you can buy it for yourself some other day. Love from your husband, wife, son, daughter, uncle, aunt, sister, brother, cousin, nephew, grand kids………This kind of love you cannot buy or replace. Love is something you cherish very close to your heart. It’s so important to remember this during the holiday season……some people get caught up in the moment of receiving and not getting what they wanted for Christmas. Remember the most important thing for Christmas Gift you have is standing right in front of you…..your precious family!!

Get Well Wishes

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I share with you a card I made using the Shirt Cut Out from The Silhouette Online Library. My friend Catarina from Docerela Creations is asking for some get well cards for her friend that is in the hospital. Since I’m a nurse, I thought I would send her a get well card that has meaning to me. Since we wear scrub tops, I thought this image would be cute to make as a scrub top card.

I used DCWV Cardstock in Coral color. I added a stethoscope and hand printed a little heart, and added some red stickles. I cut out a small little red nurses cross and attached it to the top pocket.

Happy Halloweenie Pumkins

Happy Tuesday my crafty friends! I have a new Halloweenie Card to share with you! I used this Halloween Pumkin image from The Silhouettte Online Store.

For the base of the card, I used PaperTrey Ink Kraft Cardstock and used black cardstock. I attached my Halloween Pumpkin. I embossed my image the the Dots embossing folder with my Cuddle Bug. Added some fun embellies like stickles and googly eyes. A very easy and simple fun card to make!

Celebrating Fall…..

Hello Crafty Crafters! I’m on a blog roll today….lol!! Today was a simply chillaxing day here at the house. As I was checking out my favorits blogs, I came across one of my sweet friends blog. Catarina at Docerela Creations has her very 1st Challenge going on! For her first challenge, is to create a Fall Color Card or Layout. The extra fun part of this challenge is she is giving away one of her Stamp Line Stamps – Docerela Stamps!

So for today, I created a Fall Color Card. When i think of Fall I think of Yellow mustard colors, deep oranges and browns and greens. I used my Flower Scallop Doily from Online Silhouette Studio.

I also used Bird On Branch from the Online Studio Branch. I used Kraft Cardstock from PaperTrey Ink. Mustard Paper is from Imaginsce.

The wording Family & Friends is from a sticker pack I had bought from Joanns. I used my sewing machine and used brown thread and stitched around the border of the border. I added stickles and applied to the doily. The green ribbon I had in my stash, I think I bought that one too over at Joann’s.

Happy Saturday Crafters! Today I have a fun project to share with you. Robyn, My Pink Stamper is having a fun Blog Hop over her blog My Pink Stamper. Creepy Crawly……Eeeek!!!

Booooo!!!!! Are u scared?

Creepy Day Crafters!!! Hope you are starting your weekend with a good start! I have another fun card I created the other day!! I’m having so much fun playing with my new software Make The Cut! It’s so much fun and easy to use….I’m hooked and addicted to it!!

Since I’m still in the Halloween creepy mood, I thought I create another fun creepy crawly card! I don’t know about you crafters but one thing I really dislike and get the creepy crawlys are spiders!! Honestly, I cannot stand them….Uh!!!!! But since Halloween is all about Jeepers Creepers I thought I make a frightfully creepy one!!

I told you it would be kinda creepy………..but yet I really like how it turned out!! I cut this image Black Widow Spider from my Silhoutte Library. I designed my own “Creepy” word font. I used Bloody Stump font that I downloaded from a free website. Amazing how many fun fonts for free are out there in the web world……….thousands and they’re all freeeee!!! I added red stickles to the word and some on the red marking on the black widow’s body!

For the Boo border, I used my EK Success Boo Border Punch. For the blood dripping border I got that from my Silhouette Library, it’s called Blood Border. For the ribbon, that I bought from Micheals in the $1.00 bin The red button is from Basic Grey. I used Kraft Cardstock that I had bought from PaperTrey Ink!! I LOVE LOVE they’re Kraft CS….Awesome quality paper!!!
